Parents,

We are ready for everyone to start signing up for the upcoming Bomber banquet. Players are free but must register to pick their food. Parents can register themselves and the player and guests at the same time. Hotel rooms are limited and fill up fast. Do not delay in booking rooms.

We had nearly 1200 in attendance last year and this year looks to be bigger with the addition of new teams. We will accept reservations up to December 17th. So we have time to get the catering set up. Please make sure everyone knows that you cannot come to the banquet without a ticket. We are charged for each seat even if that person chooses to not eat. This is the same for small children. If they have a seat at a table they must have a ticket and we will be charged for them. I know this is a question every year and we have no way to change the policy of the banquet facility.

Seating will be assigned based on the team you choose so all parents, players, coaches and guests of the same team will have tables next to each other. Each table sits 10 people. In the past we have had parents move seats so they whole team can sit together. We cannot allow this. The facility has asked us to make sure the tables stay as set up so they waiters can bring food to each table without extra chairs and seats in isles. I know the players want to sit together….my suggestion is to divide them up with half at one table and a coach or 2 and half at another table with a coach or 2.

Make sure if you have new parents they sign up for the new player/parent orientation and for 14u and anyone interested in recruiting advice needs to attend the recruiting seminar. Please remind your parent that there have been several changes with recruiting rules and just because they have been to a recruiting seminar in the past does not mean they do not need to attend again. If your player is not committed and does not have offers you should probably attend again to make sure you are doing everything you need to help your daughter.
